Claudio Casolino is an Italian cellist based in Switzerland, active internationally with a focus on chamber music and historically informed performance. A current academy member at the Opernhaus Zürich, he performs regularly across Europe as a soloist and with the award-winning Aliis Trio.

Trained under Asier Polo, Christian Poltéra, and Enrico Dindo, he has appeared in leading venues such as Teatro alla Scala, Musikverein Wien, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

A former member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, he is equally versed in modern and baroque repertoire, bringing depth and versatility to every performance.
